This art experience, unlike any other, first opened in Santa Fe, New Mexico, after Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin supported a group of exceptionally creative Santa Fe artists in launching an epic multiverse entertainment venue when the current art community didn’t appreciate their unique creativity. The venue was so popular and well-received that other locations opened across the U.S., including one in Las Vegas.
Each venue features area theming, and the Las Vegas location is called “Omega Mart.” Guests enter the location through a fake supermarket and then discover hidden doors, portals and secret rooms to the multiverse.
The 52,000-square-foot immersive experience created by hundreds of artists blends art, story, exploration and mind-bending. Two teens at the complex described it as “being in a real-life video game, weird, and kinda mind-blowing.” It’s like stepping into an alternate dimension, and its location inside the AREA 15 complex (an overlap from the famous Area 51 conspiracy aesthetic) features hidden dimensions, fake corporate coverups and strange experiments.

BattleBots
The BattleBots competition, currently airing on the Discovery Channel with a fervent fan base, started as a TV show in the early 2000s. Coming back for a heyday in the 2010s, and filmed in Las Vegas in a live-show area where creatively engineered hand-built robots enter the arena for a fight to the finish.
Each competitor tries to flip, smash, cut or break each other’s vehicle; the winner is determined by a knockout of the competition or by a judge’s decision. Sparks fly and crashing carnage ensues as the teams try to earn a spot at the annual world championship.
Some famous bots have included Tombstone with huge spinning blades, Bite Force, a consistent champion or Witch Doctor, a fan favorite. Teens who love action, tech or gaming vibes will love the real-life robot fighting with loud fans shouting “Fight, fight, fight.”

ARTE MUSEUM Las Vegas
One of the newest and coolest immersion experiences in Las Vegas, ARTE Museum Las Vegas is super great for artsy teens. The fully immersive digital art museum located on the Las Vegas Strip inside the CityCenter area features unbelievably creative aesthetics and visuals built around the theme “Eternal Nature.”
As a self-guided experience, guests can explore the museum at their own pace and experience an infinite waterfall, flower room and whale and ocean rooms. There are also garden rooms that include reimagined famous paintings and raindrop, forest and star rooms.

Universal Horror Unleashed
It doesn’t have to be Halloween season to experience this year-round immersive horror experience in AREA15. The 110,000 square-foot indoor haunted attraction, Universal Horror Unleashed, opened in August, 2025. Think part haunted houses, part immersive theater and part themed nightlife where you travel through at your own pace. It literally feels like a horror-themed mini park inside a warehouse.
The venue is high-production quality, with lots of actors, immersive storytelling and experiences like escape rooms, themed bars, horror-themed food and drinks and multiple haunted houses featuring Universal Monsters and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Exorcist: Believer and Scarecrow: The Reaping. If your teen loves to be scared (and who doesn’t?), this is a must-do.

At 500 feet tall, the world’s tallest observation wheel, the High Roller, is located at the center of Las Vegas at the LINQ Promenade. Riders are given a 360-degree, bird’s eye view of the bustling action of the strip during the ride duration, lasting about 30 minutes per rotation.
Teens into roller coasters can experience The Big Apple Coaster at New York-New York resort on the Strip. The ride travels at 67mph and features a 180-degree “heartline” twist-and-dive maneuver and a 203-foot drop. The Sphere
The Sphere at the Venetian Resort is currently one of the wildest, most futuristic attractions in Las Vegas. Opened in 2023, the massive spherical arena located just off the Strip measures 366 feet tall, 516 feet wide, and can hold up to 20,000 people for a show.
Literally, the largest spherical building in the world, The Sphere hosts concerts, immersive film experiences and special events. It’s been described as part concert venue, part IMAX on steroids, and part theme park attraction with 4D effects. A 16K -resolution wraparound 580,000 sq ft LED screen surrounds visitors with 167,000 speaker drives and 1.2 million programmable LED lights. Seats vibrate and effects like wind, temperature changes and scents are all part of the premium experience.

A quirky, fun interactive attraction situated right on the Strip, the Museum of Illusions is more like a playground for your brain than a traditional museum. The hands-on illusion experience features rooms and exhibits that totally mess with your perception and is designed to be walked through, touched and interacted with everything in the museum.
Mind-bending rooms include the Tilted Room, making it look as though you’re defying gravity, the Ames Room, where people appear giant or tiny depending on where they stand and the Infinity Room, where mirrors create endless reflections. Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix
This classic off-Strip family fun center, the Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix, has been around for decades. Teens will love the mix of go-kart racing and a mini amusement park and arcade in one location. Go-kart racing is definitely the main attraction here, with four different tracks that run over 80 karts.
As one of the longest go-kart tracks in Las Vegas, the Mini Gran Prix is a family, kid and teen-oriented attraction. Teens can ride its high-speed karts teens traveling up to 47 mph, providing a more intense racing option.
Teens will also enjoy the games available at the arcade. Though not a top-tier Las Vegas attraction for teens compared to others with the newest and greatest “wow” factor, the basic prices for the venue are more reasonable and teens into go-kart racing love it.

Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay
One of the most family-friendly attractions on the Las Vegas Strip, the Shark Reef Aquarium at the Mandalay Bay Resort is unique to the city and quite surprising. The diverse venue features 2,000 plus animals with over 100 species to include sharks, rays, sea turtles, glowing jellyfish, crocodiles, piranhas, a Komodo dragon, and reptiles.
The aquarium is built around a shipwreck theme and is more like an adventure walk-through than your typical aquarium visit, especially when strolling through a glass tunnel with sharks swimming overhead, which is legit impressive. Teens into sea life will love the experience.

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
If you’re needing a break from the never-ending energy of the Las Vegas Strip and your teen loves outdoor activities and adventures, the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is ideal. Only a 20-to-30-minute drive from Las Vegas (depending on traffic), the canyon is one of the easiest nature escapes from the city.
The 13-mile loop drive offers multiple lookout point stops, and if your teen is into hiking, Red Rock trails range from easy strolls to moderate climbs. Teens can even try their hand at rock climbing with supervision or a ranger guide. The Visitor Center offers educational exhibits covering geology, wildlife, and history, and teens into nature photography will find plenty of photo ops and Instagram-worthy moments. Wildlife here includes bighorn sheep, desert tortoises, lizards and many species of birds.
The visitor center is located at 1000 Scenic Loop Dr, Las Vegas, west of downtown. A timed-entry reservation is required to drive its scenic loop from October 1 to May 31. It is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
