Assiter Pumpkin Ranch in Floydada
This is known as the Pumpkin Capital of the US. Floyd County produces around 1,100 acres of pumpkins annually, since the crop took off in the late 1950s.
Located northeast of Lubbock, this pumpkin ranch offers a wide range of pumpkins from tiny 1-pound pumpkins to those weighing over 1,000 pounds. Texas isn’t known for growing pumpkins that big; however, the warm days and cool nights of the Texas Panhandle are good for the pumpkins.
Assiter Pumpkin Ranch features a big red barn, and out front are the jumbo pumpkins that need a forklift. It is open seasonally, Monday through Saturday from September 15 through October 31 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.

Devine Acres Farms in Devine
Southwest of San Antonio, Devine Acres Farms features a pumpkin barn, goat races and a catch-and-release pond. Kids will love the barnyard animals. This year’s event runs from September 26 to November 1. 2026.
For the adults, there’s a beer garden. Devine Acres Farms features a pumpkin stroll with lots of photo ops. With over 50 activities, there’s lots to do for both kids and adults.

Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls
Located in the Texas Hill Country, Sweet Berry Farm is a favorite throughout the seasons and one of the largest farms with 152 acres. There are hayrides and a pair of mazes, one of them Texas-shaped.
For its Fall Festival, visitors can stuff a scarecrow or ride the barrel train. Find barnyard animals, like goats and pony rides; AND pumpkins, of course.

Sweet Eats in Georgetown
This is the place for pumpkins, a zany animal farm with pig races, lots of outdoor activities like jumping pillows and a candy cannon.
For the Sweet Eats Fall Festival, visitors will find a 4.5-acre corn maze, a pumpkin house and hourly wagon rides. Weekend visitors can enjoy a falconry show, a zoofari, a fire show, followed by a fireworks show at night.
It’s an all-day affair and a regional draw. Best of all, Sweet Eats is open seven days a week so visitors can visit on less-busy weekday mornings.

The Robinson Family Farm in Temple
This Central Texas Pumpkin Fest bursts with color in the Fall. There are pumpkin photo ops, rides, slides and farm animals.

The Texas Pumpkin Fest in Leander
Self-proclaimed as the largest pumpkin patch in Texas, the Texas Pumpkin Fest is a member of the Haunted Attractions Association (HAA) and includes a Hall of Monsters. It hosts live music and magic shows on the weekend.
There are rides like a super slide, a 4-person pumpkin spinner and more. Visitors will find pumpkin pie-eating contests, a pumpkin slingshot, costume contests, a petting zoo, pony rides, and the list goes on.

Yesterland Farm in Canton
Yesterland Farm boasts not one, but three different pumpkin patches. It hosts Spooktacular Nights on select night throughout the season with fireworks.
