Season: October 10 through November 29, 2026
As the largest Renaissance theme park in the United States, the Texas Renaissance Festival covers over 50 acres. I’ve been going to this festival since the 1980s.
The Texas Renaissance Festival features an extensive campground, over 20 stages with continuous live entertainment, 400+ shoppes, and highly anticipated themed weekends (such as Oktoberfest, Pirate Adventure, and Celtic Christmas.

Scarborough Renaissance Festival
Season: April 10 through May 31, 2027
In a recreated 16th-century English village, the Scarborough Renaissance Festival welcomes guests of King Henry VIII. It features full-combat armored jousting, the Mermaid Lagoon and over 200 village shoppes.
For the Fall season, Scarborough Renaissance Festival is a world of magic, mystery, and adventure. Scarborough’s Hollow returns with expanded entertainment, artisan shopping and seasonal food and drink, Saturdays from late September to Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1.

New Braunfels Renaissance Faire
Season: December 4 – 13, 2026
Set in a 10-acre historic village, the New Braunfels Renaissance Faire features live music, shopping in the Christmas market, archery, caroling and St. Nick.
You can see axe throwing, sword fighting, stilt walking, juggling, Lyra, mermaids, fire eating and magicians. Don’t forget the food: turkey legs and sausage on a stick.

Season: January 16 to 31, 2027
The Kerrville Renaissance Festival features eight stages of 16th-century entertainment, including jousting tournaments, comedic jesters, and acrobats. Festivalgoers will find games, such as the tomato torment game and its maze.
Kerrville Renaissance Festival features an artisan village selling handmade pottery, jewelry, leatherwork, metalwork, and period garments. Festival food includes turkey legs and favorites on a stick.
